The Illinois Jaycees are now accepting nominations for the prestigious 2025 class of The Outstanding Young People (TOYP) awards. This annual program celebrates up to ten exceptional individuals between the ages of 18 and 40 who demonstrate excellence and leadership in their communities throughout Illinois.
Honorees may come from a wide range of fields, including business, nonprofit service, government, and the arts. Nominees should embody the best qualities of young leadership and be making a meaningful difference locally or beyond.
Nominations can be submitted in one of ten categories:
- Business, Economic, and/or Entrepreneurial Accomplishment
- Political, Legal, and/or Governmental Affairs
- Academic Leadership and/or Accomplishment
- Cultural Achievement
- Moral and/or Environmental Leadership
- Contributions to Children, World Peace, and/or Human Rights
- Humanitarian and/or Voluntary Leadership
- Scientific and/or Technological Development
- Personal Improvement and/or Accomplishment
- Medical Innovation

Award recipients will be honored at a formal banquet in East Peoria on
Saturday, October 4, 2025.
