– Vantive, a global leader in vital organ therapy, has announced plans to establish its new U.S. headquarters in Deerfield, Illinois. The company will invest $23 million into the new facility, further strengthening Illinois' position as a hub for life sciences innovation.
At a press conference today, Deerfield Mayor Daniel C. Shapiro joined Governor JB Pritzker, the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO), and Vantive leadership to celebrate the announcement.
Formerly the Kidney Care segment of Baxter International, Vantive has evolved into an independent, standalone company with a 70-year legacy in critical care. Its mission remains centered on elevating the standards of kidney and vital organ therapies, aiming to help patients around the world live longer and fuller lives.
“I am grateful Vantive will call Deerfield its home for its new corporate headquarters,” said Mayor Shapiro. “I look forward to its continued success with advancements in organ support and its growth in the Village.”
